Case study: Purcell School

The new Music Department of The Purcell School in Bushey, near Watford, required the introduction of absorbent surfaces within their practice rooms.

Acoustic ArtPanels were specified by the Architects for this project and bespoke artwork was provided which was based around images of the students with their instruments.

These images were successfully printed and incorporated onto Acoustic ArtPanels which became a feature within the practice rooms.  Both the school and the architects commented on the acoustic improvement the ArtPanels made to these rooms.

Case Study:  Cardiff Library

Artist Neil Canning was commissioned to provide the Cardiff Library's wall art features.  Colourful and energetic paintings reflecting light and weather on the land or sea were inspired by his life in Wales.

Professional photographs were taken of the paintings and drum scanned to achieve very high resolution images.  Large format Acoustic ArtPanels were printed and installed using our stretched fabric system.

All panels were of a 50mm thickness to meet acoustic requirements of the library and ranged from 3 metres to 6 metres in length with a height of 2.5 metres.

With limitless design opportunities, Acoustic ArtPanels provide the perfect solution to controlling unwanted sound in the built environment.

Acoustic ArtPanels is part of the Bridgeplex Group Ltd, which also includes FabriTrak© UK and Soundcheck
